Cynthia Cheng Correia is principal of Knowledge inform, a consulting service focused on competitive intelligence. As a widely respected thought leader in competitive intelligence and foresight, Cynthia supports individuals and professional organizations in establishing competitive advantage, critical foresight, and minimizing biases and barriers that limit their potential.
Cynthia has published books on CI and human source research, authored the “In the Know” column for Competitive Intelligence Magazine, and was a founding editor of SLA’s Intelligence Insights.
She has taught competitive intelligence and knowledge management at the Simmons College Graduate School of Library and Information Science, for which she was recognized for instructional excellence. Cynthia is a recipient of the Society of Competitive Intelligence Professionals’ 2011 Catalyst Award, the 2012 and 2015 WISE Faculty of the Year award, and SLA CI Division’s 2019 Distinguished Service award.

Join us to network with experienced medical librarians! This year, we will be exploring Artificial intelligence (AI), Knowledge Management, Competitive Intelligence and what a librarian should know on the topics. Registration will be available soon, please save the date. This year's annual meeting will be hybrid with a virtual option in the morning, but we encourage ALL members to attend this special gathering of members and students of Simmons.
Time will be built into the schedule to meet and network with our favorite library vendors, each other, and poster displays.
Coffee, snacks, and meals will be provided, with appropriate breaks.
MAHSLIN is putting out a call for posters
Max Size 3-feet x 4-feet (feel free to go smaller if you choose)
Share your ideas and/or projects on a poster with members and students of Simmons University.
This will not be a formal presentation, we will be viewing posters during social networking time, please feel free to stand with your poster and prepare to discuss or let your visual data speak for itself.
For guidance on poster creation: this will not be a judged event, let's have fun!
