As the author of the syndicated advice column, Ask Amy, Amy Dickinson provides thoughtful and often funny answers to readers who supply her with a never ending well of life’s problems, dilemmas, and issues.  Dr. Navsaria is an assistant professor at the University of Wisconsin Medical School, a pediatrician, and even an occasional children’s librarian. He is passionate about the role of literacy in childhood development and the importance of parents and children reading together. Doctors and other health care providers have a wonderful opportunity to help their patients understand how literacy improves their chances for a healthy life.
