Health Science Libraries and Information Consortium of Maine

The purpose of HSLIC is to coordinate cooperative efforts among health science libraries in Maine. HSLIC's primary goals are to promote health science libraries and librarianship, share knowledge and experiences in library operations and resources, provide continuing development of the framework for resource sharing within Maine and provide opportunities for the continuing education of health science librarians and support personnel.

The membership of HSLIC is composed of institutions or associations in the State of Maine which have an interest in health science library resources and meet the eligibility requirements of the HSLIC Bylaws.

Membership privileges include voting, interlibrary loans, eligibility for HSLIC scholarships, free copies of HSLIC publications, including a subscription to the HSLIC Newsletter, and free or reduced fee access for HSLIC sponsored educational programs or workshops.

For an application for membership please view our application for membership page or contact the Treasurer. Applicants meeting the membership requirements set forth in the Bylaws shall be entitled to all rights and privileges of membership contingent upon payment of dues.
