Continuing Education

MAHSLIN is partnering up with the Western Massachusetts Health Information Consortium Collaborative (WMHIC) to host a CE event in September!

If you’re charged with teaching students, doctors, nurses, researchers, anyone… don’t miss out on this opportunity to learn some tips and tricks to become a better teacher. And once you’ve finished filling your brain, enjoy the stress reducing effects of walking a labyrinth.

Register now by sending an email with “Ninja Strategies” in the subject line to sally.gore@umassmed.edu. The event is free to MAHSLIN members, as well as members of other state health sciences organizations in the area. All others, the cost is $5 (payable the day of the event). NOTE: REGISTRATION IS LIMITED to 40 people, so please be sure that you can and will attend, if you sign up.

Details and Schedule may be found here.

MAHSLIN serves as the leading resource to Massachusetts-area health science librarians and for education, advocacy, and networking by:

  • Promoting professional development of health sciences librarians through education, information, and peer interaction.
  • Advocating for its members and for their role in the health care industry.
  • Working with national, regional, and other state organizations to shape health information policy.
  • Facilitating the acqusition and transfer of information among health sciences libraries through the use of current technology.
