Welcome from the Chair
Greetings Members and Guests:
The Health Science Libraries and Information Consortium of Maine (HSLIC) is a group dedicated to health sciences librarianship in both hospitals and academic institutions, who engage in cooperative endeavors to share their knowledge, offer continuing education programs, and encourage resource sharing.
Membership is open to institutions, associations and individuals involved with health sciences librarianship. Benefits of membership include free reciprocal interlibrary loans, the opportunity to attend free or reduced-cost educational classes, consortium-purchased resources, and access to HSLIC publications, such as the quarterly HSLIC newsletter. Voting rights at the twice-yearly membership meetings are also a benefit. Scholarship funds are available to help defray the cost of professional development including attendance at regional or national conferences, AHIP certification fees, and other opportunities for professional growth.
For a membership application, use the Join HSLIC tab or contact our Treasurer/Membership chair Greg Curtis at Gregory.firstname.lastname@example.org. Applications that meet membership criteria are entitled to all the rights and privileges of membership contingent upon payment of dues.
Thank you for your interest and please contact me if you have any questions at email@example.com.
