Greetings Members and Guests:
Our organization, the Health Science Libraries and Information Consortium of Maine, cultivates and advances cooperative efforts among health science librarians to promote health science libraries and librarianship, share knowledge and experiences in library operations and resources, provide continuing education, and encourage resource sharing.
The membership of HSLIC is composed of institutions and individuals in Maine that have an interest in health science library resources and meet the eligibility requirements as set forth by our bylaws. Membership privileges include free, reciprocal interlibrary loans; eligibility for HSLIC scholarships and grants; opportunities for reduced rates for consortium-purchased resources; free copies of HSLIC publications including a subscription to the quarterly HSLIC newsletter; free or reduced rates for HSLIC-sponsored educational programs or workshops; and voting rights at membership meetings.
For a membership application, please see our "Join HSLIC" tab or contact our Treasurer/Membership Chair, Ann Jordan at email@example.com . Applicants meeting the membership requirements are entitled to all rights and privileges of membership contingent upon payment of dues.
