The Connecticut Association of Health Sciences Librarians invites you to our Spring Conference: “Challenges and opportunities in serving our communities." The conference will be held at Middlesex Community College in Middletown on April 8, 2016 from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
The Conference is free! Breakfast will be provided free of charge thanks to Silver Hill Hospital in New Canaan, and free lunch will be provided by EBSCO.
Themes and presentations:
The opioid epidemic and addiction; returning veterans; LGBT; and refugees.
The conference will begin with a presentation about My Place CT, a resource to find care and support in communities. A special lunchtime presentation will be given by Nick Cinea, creator of Humans of Hartford.
