CAHSL Summer Meeting & Luncheon
Our June luncheon will take place on Wednesday, June 8!
Time: 12:00 - 3:00 p.m.
Location: Cafe Allegre in Madison, CT
Cost: $28 for CAHSL members; $35 for non members
The luncheon will include a plated meal with salad, entree, dessert, coffee and tea.
The program will be a tutorial on the Cochrane Databases by Susan Sturchio of Ovid Technologies. We will also hold our elections for new officers at the business meeting.

The Connecticut Association of Health Sciences Librarians invites you to our Spring Conference: “Challenges and opportunities in serving our communities." The conference will be held at Middlesex Community College in Middletown on April 8, 2016 from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
The Conference is free! Breakfast will be provided free of charge thanks to Silver Hill Hospital in New Canaan, and free lunch will be provided by EBSCO.
Themes and presentations:
The opioid epidemic and addiction; returning veterans; LGBT; and refugees.
The conference will begin with a presentation about My Place CT, a resource to find care and support in communities. A special lunchtime presentation will be given by Nick Cinea, creator of Humans of Hartford.

Congratulations to the following CAHSL Members on their recent publications:
Marissa Gauthier of Lyman Maynard Stowe Library at UCONN Health Center who has co-authored two systematic reviews published in the Journal of Prosthodontics.
Kathleen Crea of Lyman Maynard Stow Library at UCONN Health Center who has authored a chapter in Putting Assessment into Action: Selected Projects from the Cohort of the Assessment in Action Grant.
